Global Game Changers
Want to travel the world while you learn? Want to be the next innovator, creator, mover and shaker? This degree is for you.
So high school’s wrapping up and new adventures are calling. It’s time to start your studies, work on that business idea or hit the road and travel. Or maybe you want to do all three?
Antipodeans has teamed up with the Ducere Global Business School and the University of Canberra to offer an online undergraduate degree program called Global Game Changers. Designed to get you a job in business or help you kick-start your own venture, Game Changers offers exclusive qualifications such as the Bachelor of Applied Entrepreneurship or Social Entrepreneurship, plus travel to 6 different counties in 2 years all as part of your degree.
Positions are limited, get in touch today and we'll send you the application details.
Travel the world
The travel part of Game Changers is where we come in: Antipodeans will be your guide through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and China on a leadership Expedition in Year 1, and in Silicon Valley (San Francisco) for entrepreneurial training in Year 2.
A hands-on community project will be at the centre of your Expedition through South East Asia. Our expertise ensures these projects are sustainable, safe, provide local employment and created in consultation with local communities. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to the world’s fastest-growing economies, global social responsibility and develop foundational skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, resilience and mindfulness.
“Once you’ve hitchhiked across Africa with ten bucks in your pocket, starting a business doesn’t seem too intimidating.”
Reed Hastings, Founder of Netflix

How it works
While earning your degree, you’ll travel the globe and learn the skills necessary for success in a digitally-disrupted world.
Students travel through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China on a 5-week, horizon-building expedition. Through rewarding community project work, students will discover leadership, resilience and mindfulness—the keys to social innovation in the 21st century.
From Google, to Facebook HQ to the latest game-changing app, California’s Silicon Valley is a global centre for tech innovation. And you'll be in the middle of it. For 3 weeks, students discover how innovators and investors succeed while getting a chance to also pitch their very own venture to the who's who of the start-up world.
“I didn’t have a dorm room so I slept on the floor in friends’ rooms, returned coke bottles for 5¢ deposits to buy food with and I’d walk across town every Sunday to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. Much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on.”

We’re different and because of that, you can be too
With our vision of shaping future generations, we couldn’t be prouder to support a degree for the now. Here’s what you will learn that no traditional degree will teach you:
We started Antipodeans because we believe travel makes you a better citizen of the world. Why? As Mark Twain once wrote, “travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” Can you imagine how different the world would be if everyone travelled? We can.
Perspective. Fearlessness. Independence.
Reed Hastings, founder of Netflix, was once asked how he was able to push past the fear of risking everything to build his ground-breaking startup. He reflected on his time abroad with the Peace Corps, saying “once you’ve hitchhiked across Africa with ten bucks in your pocket, starting a business doesn’t seem too intimidating.” We couldn’t have said it better.
Confidence. Purpose. Perseverance.
Travel gives you time to step out of life and look at it in new ways, to experience how people do things differently—often with less—and to learn from new cultures and customs. What you take away from those moments stay with you forever.
Kickstart your venture. Study different. Get in touch and we’ll send you all the deets.
